Our well-trained doves can navigate 100s of miles to find their way home. There are documented flights of over 1000 miles but most white dove release businesses stay within about 50 to 100 miles from home. These birds were created to journey home.

The release timing and location can be customized. Discuss this with the person doing the release so we can plan your event perfectly. For funerals, the release usually takes place after the committal and before the benediction at the end of the graveside service. For weddings, the release typically takes place outdoors at the pronouncement or on the steps of the church or venue after the wedding ceremony. We never release birds close to sunset or after dark. They must have time to fly home before dark so plan your ceremony to start about 1 to 2 hours before sunset, depending on the location of your ceremony and the home loft.
